House in Eschertshofen

On the edge of a village, a long, slender plot follows the flank of the hill. Here, a structure resembling the rock that sits just above the site provides shelter for a holiday house. Fully glazed, the building opens itself to the surrounding landscape, allowing nature to become part of the living experience. The slope of the hill, meanwhile, offers protection and privacy to the rooms at the rear.
